Nokia and Microsoft announced that the latest Operating System productivity apps from the software giant will gradually become available for Symbian Belle.
The above mentioned apps will come to the OS in two stages. The first bunch will be available in Q4 and will include Microsoft Lync 2010 Mobile, Microsoft PowerPoint Broadcast, Microsoft OneNote, and Microsoft Document Connection. While in second stage, more apps will come in 2012 with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint being part of the group. This is the first time Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint will become officially available outside the Windows platform. So the expectations are high regarding this application and the mobile phones that will be carrying them.
The apps are expected to be free for the Symbian Belle packing, Nokia device. The soon to come OS is considered high spirit, as the OS which was widely considered as being on its way out has been officially disclosed.
