Nokia will release two new CDMA phones for the Chinese market in the form of the Nokia 6702 Slide and Nokia 1706. The Nokia 6702 Slide is a simple slider phone that runs on the Symbian OS. This handset features a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, a built-in dual-LED flash, a 2.6-inch (240 x 320) LCD screen, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, support for USB and Java MIDP 2.0 applications. LG will launch the new LG Optimus (GT450) Android smartphone in the UK on May 1st, 2010. Powered by Android 1.6 OS, this full touchscreen phone uses a 3-inch resistive touch screen (320 x 480), a 3-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a microSD card slot. LG has created the SN Manager (Social Network), which allows you to easily keep track of their Facebook, Twitter and Bebo accounts. Nokia has finally and officially confirmed the Nokia N8 12-megapixel camera phone that is powered by Symbian^3 OS. Available in black, silver, blue, orange and lime, the phone supports a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 16GB of built-in storage (expandable up to 48GB via microSD card), and a 12MP AutoFocus camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash and a large sensor that rivals those found in compact digital cameras. Samsung today announced the Samsung Star S5230 FIFA World Cup “Fan Package” and Samsung Star S5230 LaFleur in Germany. The “Fan Package” edition comes in white color, while the LaFleur edition comes in red color with a nice floral pattern on its case.
