Nokia will release two new CDMA phones for the Chinese market in the form of the Nokia 6702 Slide and Nokia 1706. The Nokia 6702 Slide is a simple slider phone that runs on the Symbian OS. This handset features a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, a built-in dual-LED flash, a 2.6-inch (240 x 320) LCD screen, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, support for USB and Java MIDP 2.0 applications. Nokia has finally and officially confirmed the Nokia N8 12-megapixel camera phone that is powered by Symbian^3 OS. Available in black, silver, blue, orange and lime, the phone supports a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 16GB of built-in storage (expandable up to 48GB via microSD card), and a 12MP AutoFocus camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash and a large sensor that rivals those found in compact digital cameras.
